Chocolate Chip Pumpin Pancakes

These chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes are light, fluffy, and pure perfection on a plate!

Equipment

  • Pan or Griddle

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour 
  • 3 tablespoons sugar 
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips 
  • maple syrup (optional) 

Instructions

  • Heat pan or griddle.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, water, pumpkin, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg until well combined. 
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter onto hot griddle and cook for a few minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. 
  • Serve with maple syrup, if desired.
