Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer on low speed to combine cookie mix, butter, water, and egg until a soft dough forms.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake 6 – 8 minutes or until edges are set. Remove from oven.
Press 1 Peppermint Patty on each cookie. Cool 2 minutes and then remove cookies from cookie sheets, and transfer to cooling racks.
Cool completely, for at least 1 hour.
Microwave chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream uncovered on for 60 seconds. Stir until chips are softened and smooth.
Spoon a teaspoonful of melted chocolate on top of each peppermint candy and spread to cover.
Top with sprinkles. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
