The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt
If you are looking for a healthy way to satisfy your craving for edible cookie dough, then look no further! This recipe can be for snack, dessert, as a dip, or even for breakfast! You can eat it as it is prepared, freeze it and enjoy as frozen yogurt, or serve it as a dip! The recipe is so simple to prepare, and the dish is packed with protein!
Ingredients:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or you can use vanilla flavored yogurt)
1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter, almond butter, or cashew butter
1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of chocolate chips (you can use mini, dark chocolate, semi-sweet)
*optional: 1/2 cup of shelled peanuts to mix in!
You can also add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
Directions:
1. Combine Greek yogurt, nut butter, vanilla extract, and salt in a medium sized bowl. Use a spoon or a whisk to mix items together until the mixture is smooth.
2. Stir in chocolate chips. (Dark chocolate chips have less sugar than milk chocolate chips, or white chocolate chips, so I typically use those).
3. Serve in a ramekin or small dish and eat with a spoon, or serve as a dip with apple slices. You can even freeze the mixture and enjoy as frozen yogurt!
