Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
These devil’s food-like cookies are soft and have a cake-like texture. Easy to prepare, these cookies are soft and chewy in the middle, and crispy on the edges.
Ingredients:
- 1 box Devil’s food cake mix
- 1⁄2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- Confectioners’ sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a large bowl, stir dry cake mix, oil, and eggs until dough forms.
- Cover hand with confectioners’ sugar by lightly dusting hands, and shape dough into 1 1/2 inch balls.
- Pour confectioners’ sugar on a plate and roll balls of dough in confectioners’ sugar.
- Place dough 2 inches apart on uncreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Wait one minute, and then remove cookies from sheets, and transfer to wire cooling rack.
- After one minute, remove cookies from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks.
